I’m delighted that you’re interested in commissioning a custom piece of art. Below you’ll find detailed information about the process as well as answers to frequently asked questions. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me by email.
The Process
-
Please describe your desired design using the inquiry form and upload any relevant reference images, if available.
The more detailed your information is (e.g., design, style, size, completion date, or other specific requests), the better I can understand your vision.
If the photos are not suitable or if I have any questions, I will contact you by email.
-
Based on your request, I will provide you with a customized, no-obligation quote within 3 days. This quote will include all the details, the price, a payment deadline, and a firm completion date.
-
You accept the offer by transferring 50% of the total amount in advance within the specified payment period. I will then begin creating the artwork. The remaining 50% is due after you review the preview and before shipment.
I am available to answer any questions you may have at any time during the creation process.
-
Before the final completion, you will receive a digital preview of your artwork.
This gives you the opportunity to request minor adjustments so that the final result meets your expectations as closely as possible.
The remaining 50% of the total amount is due thereafter.
-
Once the artwork is complete and the remaining balance has been received, it will be carefully packaged and shipped to you with insurance.
You will, of course, be notified of the shipment via a shipping confirmation and tracking number.
Digital works (e.g., tattoo designs) will be conveniently sent to you as a file.
-
Yes, you can specify any special requests in the inquiry form. For example, photos can be combined, or elements can be added or omitted. I will discuss the details with you when preparing the offer.
-
For commissioned work, I primarily use pencil/graphite and ballpoint pen. Upon request, I can also create pieces using acrylic or oil paint. Tattoo designs can be drawn by hand or digitally.
You can find more detailed information in the respective listings.
-
The maximum processing time depends on the specific artwork. The standard turnaround time is 4 weeks. Express production is also available for an additional fee. The completion date will be determined on a case-by-case basis and specified in the offer.
-
Prices vary depending on the type of artwork, size, and technique. For more detailed information, please visit the pages on portraits, tattoo designs, and architectural drawings. The final price is listed in your offer.
-
The total amount is listed in the offer. It includes a payment deadline for the down payment (50% of the total amount). I will begin working on the order once the down payment has been received. You will pay the remaining 50% after reviewing the preview, and the item will then be shipped.
Payment can be made via PayPal or bank transfer.
